About Peace Initiative Bhutan

Founded by members of the Bhutanese diaspora — individuals shaped by displacement but driven by hope — PIB promotes positive peace and reconciliation through mutual trust and understanding.

“PIB seeks mutually beneficial solutions through sincere dialogue, compassionate listening, and active participation in a comprehensive peacebuilding process — not adversarial confrontation.”

By bridging the gap between the Government of Bhutan and the diaspora, PIB plays a constructive role in fostering understanding, dignity, and reconciliation — building toward a future where all Bhutanese communities can thrive together.
